How to Order a Doll
When my eldest daughter was born, I stumbled across an image of a waldorf-inspired doll and fell in love with the doll's simple beauty. Upon learning more about the dolls, I immediately began to learn making them. I took a dollmaking class at our local Waldorf school and after many years of practice decided to make dolls for sale. I love making these dolls and hope that you enjoy them also.
Each doll that I make is one-of-a-kind and hand-crafted from all natural materials. I sew the bodies from cotton interlock fabric and stuff them with clean, carded wool. The faces are embroidered. For each doll's hair I crochet a cap and then individually tie each strand of hair to ensure a full head of fun to play with hair. I use various wool yarns for each doll's hair. The clothes and knitwear are made from high quality cotton and other natural fabrics. Of course, each doll is made in our smoke-free and pet-free home.
I sell my dolls in my etsy store, Duck Duck Goose Toys: http://www.etsy.com/shop/duckduckgoosetoys. I update the store as dolls are ready to be sent to new homes, so check back often.
General prices for Duck Duck Goose dolls (sometimes these prices will be higher depending upon hair choice and clothing) range from $100 to $200, plus shipping dollars depending upon size, clothing choice, hair type, etc.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
